Premier Select Sires Inc., will hold a two-day course teaching the technique of artificially inseminating cattle. The course will also include the discussion of: Anatomy and Physiology, Semen Handling, Heat Detection and Sire Selection, as well as the actual practice of inseminating cattle.

• DATE: November 22-23, 2025
• PLACE: Classroom Portion Day 1: Penn State Livestock Evaluation Center, 1494 W. Pine Grove Rd. Furnace, PA 16865
  Farm Location Days 1 and 2: Evergreen Farms, 3102 Evergreen Lane, Spruce Creek PA 16683
• TIME: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (day 1) 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (day 2)
• COST: $300 per student trainee, payable in advance
• DEADLINE TO SIGN UP: November 15, 2025 (A maximum of 20 students will be accepted. Signups are first come, first serve)

If signing up for the school, please note that you will need to bring rubber boots and coveralls.

Participants must be at least 15 years of age. Students under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian signature on their course release form. All students will need to print and complete the AI School Release Form (available for download after registering online) and bring it to the school.
