Ryan Allen has been promoted to Key Account Specialist for Premier Select Sires.

Working closely with other Premier team members, Ryan will connect and build relationships with customers and prospects who can benefit from Premier Select Sires’ services and products. He will provide consultative services to help producers achieve new heights in genetics, reproduction, and whole farm success. Ryan will also provide training opportunities both internally and externally for topics such as dairy software, genomic education, artificial insemination, and more. Areas of focus will include cattle evaluation (SMS^®), reproduction (SRS^®), activity monitoring, genetics, herd health, and nutrition.

Ryan was raised on his family’s Registered Holstein farm, Glen-Toctin, in Frederick County Maryland. He graduated from Penn State University in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in animal science. He then worked as a satellite dairy and genetic manager for Fairmont Farms in Vermont before joining Premier Select Sires in August 2024 as a Sales Support Specialist.

“In my time with Premier, I have made it my goal to be exposed to as many aspects of our business as I can to gain a better understanding of how all team members work together to help our customers succeed,” said Ryan. “I feel that this, combined with my time on-farm gaining first-hand experience with the challenges producers face, will allow me to cultivate relationships with customers to help them maximize operational potential. I’m looking forward to meeting more of our customers and helping them put our genetics, products, and services to full use on their operations.”

Ryan will continue working with the herds he currently serves, while expanding into new areas of Pennsylvania and New York.
