• – Work with key accounts to manage data, develop tools, and implement strategies to benefit on-farm decision making.
• – Work with the Regional Sales Manager and Area Sales Managers to identify and service key accounts as well as lead various events for the sales team.
• – Work with Select Mating Service to provide genetic decisions for key accounts to facilitate future genetic improvements.
• – Educate customers on benefits of the Select Reproductive Solutions reproductive assistance program to implementation.
• – Identify areas of potential growth for the company to recommend sales expansion opportunities.
• – Represent Premier at regional, state, and national events when applicable.
• – Lead education, promotion, and installation of the CowManager activity system.
• – Assist product sales with the coordination of the Premier Product Manager.
• – Provide feedback on activities in the area.
• – Various projects based on business needs.

Education, Experience & Qualifications

• – Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Dairy Science, Agriculture Economics, or related field is preferred.
• – Specific industry experience is required to include:
  • – Specialization in artificial insemination and reproduction management
  • – Extensive knowledge of synchronization protocols along with a basic understanding of dairy and beef genetics
  • – Experience in dairy cattle evaluation
  • – 4-6 years industry related experience
• – Strong interpersonal & communications skills along with excellent customer service skills to build strong relationships.
  • – Solid presentation skills are required with the ability to earn customer trust and loyalty.
• – Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office coupled with the ability to quickly learn related business software.
  • – Working knowledge of PC Dart, Team Viewer, Bovisync and DairyComp 305
