Our next highlighted employee is Anna Sullivan! Anna is a Distribution and Support Specialist / ASM in the mid to western Tennessee region. She is currently going on seven years with Premier since she graduated from college in 2019. She began as a Distribution and Support Specialist under Tim Barnes and started the dual role as a TN ASM in 2023.

Anna is kept busy as she wears a couple of hats with Premier, including running nitrogen routes, selling semen/products, breeding cows, teaching AI schools, and working with distribution through the direct ship program and the semen order each month. She states that it is never the same thing each day! 

When asked what she finds most rewarding about her role, Anna states, “From an ASM standpoint, I enjoy my customers. They have become like family, and I want to help them succeed in their own operations as if it were my own. I also enjoy my coworkers. We’re a family, and to have them to call on and rely on in our field of work means a lot. From the distribution side, I enjoy being in the know on bull/product availability and the logistics behind how reps and customers get their products and semen so that I can help get them what they need to be successful.”

When asked what advice she would give to someone interested in a similar career path at Premier, Anna said, “Like anything else, you’ve got to work hard at it to be successful. It’s not easy, but getting arms in cows and boots on the ground will get you there with time and experience. Honesty, manners, and customer service go a long way!”

When she is not working, she and her husband, Jody, run their 40-head Angus/SimAngus cow/calf operation with their daughter Maggie. When they are not farming, they are hunting, fishing, or pulling antique tractors!
