This week, we are highlighting Jay Stoltzfus! 

Jay joined the team in 2014 as a relief technician. In a full-circle moment just six months later, he stepped into the role of the gentleman who had been servicing his father’s herd for many years. Today, with over 11 years of experience, Jay serves as a Reproductive Services Specialist in our Central Region.

In his daily role, Jay provides prompt, expert service to his customers. He frequently collaborates with dairymen, veterinarians, and nutritionists to solve complex reproductive challenges, leveraging our extensive product line to help farmers reach their goals.

What do you find most rewarding about your role?
“This job is built on relationships. It’s important to take time with my customers. While it’s a lot of fun to watch a herd of cows improve over the years, it means much more knowing that I have so many friends in the industry.”

What advice would you give to someone interested in a similar career path at Premier?
“Remember that this is a customer service industry. It’s not hard to get up early and be on time, but that’s important to our customer base. This field should be relational, not transactional. “

Outside of work, Jay has been married to his best friend, Annette, for 20 years. They have 3 children, Justice 13, Liberty 11, and Ayla 9. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family. His interests include fantasy baseball, and he recently started reselling sports cards.
