Our employee highlight this week is Tanner Hodges

Tanner has been with Premier for five years! Two of those years he spent as a relief tech. He has spent the last three years as a reproductive services specialist in the central region, covering southern Lancaster and Chester counties. In his day-to-day, he provides insemination services, assists his customers with implementing different protocols, makes breeding decisions, and answers any questions his customers have about the MANY products we offer!

When asked what he finds most rewarding about his role, Tanner states, “The most rewarding part of this job is the relationships that I have built with my customers. I enjoy working with cows and being in many different herds each day, but the relationships that I have built with so many great customers are what make the job really enjoyable for me.”

When asked what advice he would give to someone interested in a similar career path at Premier, he says, “Providing quality service to your customers is the key to success. Customers notice when you are willing to put in the work to help them achieve their goals within their herd. It may not always be easy to get up early and run hard all day, but it makes it all worth it when customers see you as part of their success.”

Outside of work, Tanner has been married to his wife, Kaitlyn, for almost five years, and their son, Hudson, just turned a year old. He loves spending free time with his family, attending baseball games, and attending races. Tanner and his wife both graduated from Virginia Tech. Even though they are deep in Penn State country, they are big Hokie fans.
