This week we highlight Andrew Keffer!

Andrew has been working as an Area Sales Manager in the Southern Region for a little over a year now. His day consists of truck routes to fill tanks and provide semen and products to customers. He assists producers by offering solutions to reach their genetic goals and potential. He also helps to AI cattle during different breeding seasons.

When asked what he finds most rewarding about his role, Andrew states, “I enjoy helping my customers troubleshoot problems with effective solutions and seeing real improvements from a product or protocol that I helped implement. Also, as a dairyman myself, it’s nice being able to provide real world insight and services that I would appreciate on my own farm as well.”

When asked what advice he would give to someone interested in a similar career path at Premier, Andrew says, “Write everything down, and keep a good calendar. Overall, you can’t be too organized.”

Outside of work, Andrew manages his family’s dairy farm alongside his parents, his wife Ashton, and son Beau, milking a mixed herd of Holstein and Jersey cattle. When not farming, Andrew and his family enjoy vacationing on the Georgia coast, deer hunting, cooking, and watching a good football game.
