Allison Michel is joining Premier as an intern serving in our northern region.

Allison graduated from Greenwich Central School in 2024 and is currently pursuing a degree in animal science with a concentration in dairy at SUNY Cobleskill. Her hands-on experience in the dairy industry began with years of working on a robotic dairy farm, where she was primarily responsible for feeding and caring for calves. Through this, she developed a deep appreciation for animal health and management.

“I am thrilled to be joining Premier Select Sires as an intern this summer,” said Allison. “I’m excited for the opportunities ahead and eager to contribute my skills while learning from industry professionals. I look forward to expanding my knowledge at Premier while connecting with new colleagues.”

Outside of work, Allison has a strong passion for showing cows at the Schaghticoke Fair. She has been actively involved in various 4-H and FFA events. One of her proudest achievements was being part of the nationally ranked FFA Dairy Judging team in 2023. Now at SUNY Cobleskill, she is an active member of the Dairy Cattle Club, recently serving as co-advertising chair for the spring’s Dairy Fashion Sale.
