Daphne Lang is a Dairy Coordinator in the central region, covering southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She has been with Premier for 22 years!

Her day-to-day work focuses on serving as a genetic consultant. She works hard with producers to evaluate their herds, analyze genetics, and develop breeding strategies for their operation.

When asked what she finds most rewarding about her role, she said, “I enjoy working closely with my customers and collaborating with the Select Sires team to help them accomplish their goals. I also love seeing the daughter patterns develop from the bulls we select and watching how each generation builds on the last.”

When asked what advice she would give to someone interested in a similar career path at Premier, she said, “You not only need a passion for genetics, but also an interest in working with computer programs and analyzing data. Equally important is getting to know your customers and what success looks like for their operation. Be flexible and willing to adapt, and focus on building strong relationships. When you understand your customers’ goals and vision, the results will follow.”

The impact of her expertise is felt throughout the cooperative. ASM Elijah Williard notes, “Her dependability, relentless work ethic, exceptional ability to evaluate cattle, and passion make all the difference when adding value for our producers and helping them succeed. I rely on her immensely, and she always steps up.”
