Today, we are highlighting Dave Miklic!

Dave has been with Premier for eleven years. He worked as a Reproductive Services Specialist (RSS) in Perry County, PA for four years, and as an RSS Supervisor for the past seven years. Dave does a variety of things in his day-to-day, and it never looks the same! He spends his time talking and visiting with RSSs about anything and everything, from potential new business to questions or concerns. He also does a lot of scheduling, searching for and hiring new RSSs when necessary, relief breeding, and helping with AR.

When asked what he finds most rewarding about his role, Dave says, “I really enjoy the RSSs that I work with. It’s rewarding to watch them grow in their positions and have success. I’m thankful for the hardworking RSS group that I’m a part of and their willingness to help each other and work as a team.”

When asked what advice he would give to someone interested in a similar career path at Premier, Dave states, “Be willing to keep learning and don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Communicate with your coworkers and ask questions. Premier employees all have different backgrounds and areas of expertise from which we can learn.”

Outside of work, Dave spends his time assisting his wife, Susan, with their equine breeding business, Sapphire Equine LLC. Together they have four kids, Charlie, Maggie, Molly, and Lindsay, who are all active in 4-H, FFA, and riding competitions.
