This week, we are highlighting Duane Caler, an Area Sales Manager for Northern Vermont and Northern New York!

Duane has spent 20 years with Premier, dedicated to the same role. He follows a busy six-week schedule delivering semen, filling liquid nitrogen tanks, and providing essential cow and calf care products. Duane also works closely with our Select Mating Service crew to keep matings updated, and he loves visiting with prospective customers to see how Premier can help them grow.

When asked about the most rewarding part of his role, Duane says, “I like helping with the sire choices and seeing the results from those choices.”

When asked what advice he has for anyone looking to build a similar career path at Premier, Duane says, “Pay attention, be flexible, and establish relationships with your herds. Keep good records of what you do so you can look back when you need to.”

When he isn’t out on his route, Duane loves spending his time at Day Brook Camp and following dirt car racing!
