Premier Select Sires is seeking a Sales Support Specialist in Pennsylvania reporting to Sean Johnson, Regional Sales Manager.  This position will be responsible to provide technical service & sales support to member customers through reproductive based solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

• – Support our sales team with timely mating solutions for our member customer accounts as requested
• – Plan and execute regular customer visits in coordination with the sales team
• – Provide timely responses to all customer inquiries regarding mating solutions and technical services
• – Continue follow-up communication with customers found to have mating related issues
• – Conduct benchmarking to identify industry trends and opportunities to share with customers and our sales team
• – Ensure key sales support staff are trained to support the SMS program with customers and our sales team
• – Work with our activity monitoring system – Cow Manager
• – Represent Premier Select Sires at events and conferences
• – Assist with other responsibilities and duties as required

Job Qualifications & Requirements:

• – Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Dairy Science, Agriculture Economics or closely related fields
• – Specialization in the areas of artificial insemination and reproductive management is preferred
• – Bilingual in Spanish & English a plus
• – Large herd management experience a plus
• – Extensive knowledge of synchronization protocols is preferred along with a basic understanding of dairy and beef genetics
• – Minimum of eight years’ experience in agriculture related fields
• – Strong interpersonal & communications skills along with excellent customer service skills to build relationships
• – Solid presentation skills required with the ability to earn customer trust and loyalty
• – Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint coupled with the ability to quickly learn related business software
• – Working knowledge of PCDART and DairyComp 305
• – Regular travel – a minimum of 40%
• – Hours may vary and will require evening and some weekend work based on business needs
