We are thrilled to highlight Parke Heisey, a Reproductive Services Specialist based in Lebanon, PA!

Parke has spent nearly 16 years with Premier, dedicated to the same role he has had since the beginning. Every day, he focuses on promptly and consistently servicing breeding calls. He balances morning and afternoon farm visits with monitoring his CowManager accounts. Managing a high-mileage route efficiently while keeping customer timing fair is a daily puzzle, but Parke handles it with expert skill.

“I find relationships the most rewarding part of this position,” Parke shares. “Of course, getting cattle pregnant and improving genetics is great, but at the end of the day, a satisfied customer is where it’s at. I have enjoyed watching herds improve over the years; paying attention to goals is very rewarding.”

When asked what advice he has for anyone looking to build a similar career path, Parke states: “My Dad always said, ‘If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing well.’ If unsure, ask—don’t just assume. Be honest, don’t ever give a customer a reason to replace you! Treat the cattle and customers with respect, do your job right, and always remember that you are a guest trusted with their operation.”

Parke has been married to his wonderful wife, Janelle, for years, and they have two sons, Daryl and Travis. In his free time, he enjoys whitetail hunting in northern PA and hosting chicken BBQs for community events.

Parke adds, “Cattle have always been a part of my life, so if there is manure on my boots, I’m happy.”
