Premier Select Sires is seeking a Sales Support Specialist in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware reporting to Sean Johnson, Regional Sales Manager. This position will be responsible to provide technical service & sales support to member customers through reproductive based solutions.
Main Responsibilities:
- – Support our sales team with timely reproduction solutions for our member customer accounts as requested
- – Plan and execute regular customer visits in coordination with the sales team
- – Provide timely responses to all customer inquiries regarding reproduction, fertility, synchronization protocols and technical services
- – Continue follow-up communication with customers found to have herd reproduction issues
- – Conduct benchmarking to identify industry trends and opportunities to share with customers and our sales team
- – Coordinate and conduct training sessions on reproduction, fertility and synchronization protocols as well as other pertinent industry information to keep our sales team abreast of the latest trends
- – Ensure key sales support staff are trained to support the SRS program with customers and our sales team
- – Work with our activity monitoring system – Cow Manager
- – Represent Premier Select Sires at events and conferences
- – Communicate with bovine reproduction researchers and academic institutions to gain knowledge of research projects and other pertinent industry information
- – Assist with other responsibilities and duties as required

Job Qualifications & Requirements:
- – Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Dairy Science, Agriculture Economics or closely related fields
- – Specialization in the areas of artificial insemination and reproductive management is preferred
- – Bilingual in Spanish & English a plus
- – Extensive knowledge of synchronization protocols is preferred along with a basic understanding of dairy and beef genetics
- – Minimum of eight years’ experience in agriculture related fields
- – Strong interpersonal & communications skills along with excellent customer service skills to build relationships
- – Solid presentation skills required with the ability to earn customer trust and loyalty
- – Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint coupled with the ability to quickly learn related business software
- – Working knowledge of PCDART and DairyComp 305
- – Regular travel – a minimum of 30%
- – Hours may vary and will require evening and some weekend work based on business needs

- – Salary plus bonus based on management approval
